He founded the rockjazz group El Topo expanding a previous duo with Omar Sodano. Long collaboration (1996-2003) on stage and in studio, with the Senegal griot Siriman “Pape” Kanoutè, maybe the first musician to popularize the kora (west-african harp/lute) and the mandinga culture in Italy, taking part with him in many concerts and live radio broadcasts (Stereonotte, La Stanza della Musica). Currently involved in two projects with oboist/thereminist Paolo Di Cioccio (Le Grand Lunaire and Le Borg). More collaborations in Italy or in european festivals: with progressive and improvised music veteran Geoff Leigh (ex Henry Cow), singer-songwriter and folk-punk rocker Stefano Giaccone (Franti/Kina), Seattle vocalist multiinstrumetalist Amy Denio, welsh postpunk/psych band Ectogram and many others. Since 2001, he composes and performs live soundtracks to classic silent movies.
